Often times, I find that short funny rhyming poems are among the funniest out there. The funny poem below talks about "Norm", the cat.
Norm
He’s a lover, not a fighter.
He’s a licker, not a biter.
He’s a purrer, not a growler.
He’s a prancer, not a prowler.
He’s black and very furry.
His whiskers, they are curly.
He has one brown back paw.
Two very sharp thumb claws.
His meow is kind of girly.
He wakes up very early.
His stomach’s a bit fat.
His name is Norm the cat.

Do you know anyone who has a cat? I'm sure you know several people. Well here's your chance to surprise them. If you know the name of their cat, you could always replace "Norm" with their cats name. That would surely make it more personal.
I have an old friend, who actually has three cats. He absolutely loves cats. I will email this poem to him, but first I have to remind myself, what their names are. So I may include them in the poem.
