Funny Poems For Kids

Funny poems for kids come in a shapes and sizes. The one below talks about boys and makes fun of them.

Boys are..

Boys are gross; they smell like cheese.
I think their feet are covered in fleas.
They never seem to comb their hair,
with frogs and spiders they try to scare.

Boys are dumb, of this I’m sure.
For their cooties, there is no cure.
Heaven forbid one should kiss you.
If one did, your lips will turn blue.

Boys are lame, this fact I know.
Pants and shoes, they always outgrow.
Mom says someday I’ll decide I like boys,
Now I just think they make too much noise.

Angela did a great job with this poem, I think it's very funny. It's not only funny, but it's also very true. Boys do smell, I know I did when I was a young boy. I would always get dirty and play in the mud with my toy cars. I would collect beetles and insects, and play with random dogs on the street, so I probably had fleas like the poem implies.

I guess that's childhood. The cootie thing was also very common. I think my wife sometimes still thinks that I have the cooties (especially if I forget to shower, or I'm to busy to do so).

The last line brings back so many memories. I remember me and my friends would always make a lot of noise as we were playing cops and robbers on our bikes. Looking back at it now, I'm sure the noise was very annoying for some people. But it was so much fun. It was childhood.
