Funny Poem Short

Welcome to the funny poem short page. The funny poem you see below talks about changing or fixing physical traits. I hope you enjoy it.

Someday!

Someday I will get a tan.
Even if it’s from a can.
With a tan I’ll look so fit.
In a bikini, I will sit.

Someday I will lose five pounds.
Rub my thighs with coffee grounds.
Caffeine fights the cellulite.
But my jeans are still too tight.

Someday famous I will be.
Name upon the movie marquee.
Everyone will be in awe,
of my lack of any flaw.

Doesn't that poem remind you of how our society focuses so much on physical appearances or beauty. A lot of is the result of how the media has portrayed and idolized beauty over the past several decades.

The truth is, our society is completely obsessed with physical beauty. If we take a step back and really think about it. Is it right to raise our children in this way? Shouldn't we be teaching our children the importance of inner beauty, and how inner beauty is what really matters. Inner beauty is what creates positive and good human beings.

Let's say we compare two trees. One tree is very large, while the other tree is quite small. As people walk by they notice that the smaller tree is more prettier to the eye than the larger tree that has huge old branches randomly scattered about. Which tree is more valuable?

The larger tree is capable of processing a lot more carbon dioxide to give us oxygen, than the smaller one. The smaller tree represents outer physical beauty, while the larger tree represesnts the many aspects and characteristics of inner beauty.
