Funny Mothers Day Poems

What do you think of funny mothers day poems? They are different than the usual sappy thank you mom poems. I think they are pretty cool, because they will mom laugh. I hope you share the one below with your wonderful mom.


Breakfast In Bed

Happy mother’s day mom, here is breakfast in bed.
I know you like toast but we don’t have any bread.
I’ve cooked you an omelet of eggs and Swiss cheese.
Is lactose intolerance a valid disease?

We don’t have any OJ, so I hope you like water.
It’s okay, I know I’m still your favorite daughter.
Don’t mind that cat hair floating in your glass.
I’ve got to run now; I’m way late for class.

Oh, and by the way, I’ve brought my laundry bin.
Would you mind popping it into the washer for a spin?
This time, please be sure to wash it all in cold
And if you can find the time, give it a fold?

Hopefully, you understand that was joke. You should never ask your mom to do your laundry on mothers day. That would be way to cruel. But you should still make her laugh by proposing it.

What are some of the funny things your mom does or says? I'm going to make an attempt to embarass my mom by listing a few things I find funny about her:

  • 1. She talks to her plants (all the time).
  • 2. She has a puppy cocker spaniel named "lord", (don't ask why). As most puppies, he misbehaves, so my mom is always running into her backyard yelling "Lord" at the top of her lungs. I'm sure her neighbors think she's either insane or a religious fanatic.
  • 3. She is way to impatient to read instructions. So it is very common to walk into her house and find a piece of furniture or anything for that matter, assembled incorrectly. It looks really funny.

    • We all know that are moms are absolutely wonderful human beings. They are among the most loving and caring in the entire universe. So don't forget to treat your mom like a queen on mothers day, and share some funny mothers day poems with her to make her laugh a bit. She deserves it.
