I heard you’re sick; that’s really sad.
I hate to hear you’re feeling bad.
I’d bring you chicken soup for lunch,
but I’m in a bit of a credit crunch.
I’m sorry you’re sick, and your nose is red.
My best advice is get back to bed.
Is it starve a fever and feed a cold?
At least your toes aren’t covered in mold.
I hope your illness passes fast,
and for the year, it is your last.

Nobody enjoys being sick. It can be really frustrating, but it's a part of life. But it really does help when others are concerned about you when you are sick. That's why we need to show our concern and love when our friends and family members are ill
Making them laugh is a wonderful way to cheer them up. So feel free to share the above poem with someone who is ill that you care about. I very confident that once they read it they will surely smile and maybe even laugh.
If you can't visit this person, you could always show your concern with a text message that includes this poem. But I recommend that you write it in a nice get well card. This action will be seen as that much more special than just a quick sms.
When I was younger, I spent a fair amount of time in the hospitals. I remember receiving get well soon cards from family and friends. Those cards helped me get throuh those tough days. They lifted my spirit and put a smile on my face and in my heart.
