Funny Dog Poems
Finding funny dog poems online is quite a challenge. That's one of the reasons the poem below was written. The other reason is to celebrate our canine friends.
Dogs Life
Why do dogs sniff each other’s behinds?
Maybe for them, it’s a meeting of minds.
What better way to tell where one’s been?
Or if they should go that way again?
Why do dogs love to roll in dead things?
Maybe because of the perfume it brings.
The longer that opossum’s been lying there rotting,
The more dogs you’ll find that way trotting.
Why do dogs always slobber and snore?
Maybe because they enjoy nothing more.
Few creatures know how to sleep like a dog.
Except maybe my husband, the bed hog.

Dogs are wonderful companions. They are always excited to see you when you come home from work. To me, it just seems like dogs are constantly smiling. We could all learn a thing or two from them. Especially about remaining positive and cheerful throughout each day. Dogs should write the book about positive attitude. We could all learn from them.
Dogs do not judge us. They accept us for who we are and are always willing to share and express their love for us. If only we all acted like that more often, the world would certainly be a better place.
Another thing about dogs is that they are super cute. They come in all shapes and sizes. Some are not much larger than the size of our palms, while others look more like horses or bears. But no matter what they look like, they are filled with love and affection.
I received my first dog when I was 2 years old. He was a beautiful german sheppard, and his name was Cesar. I remember having so much fun with Cesar, he was a really amazing dog.
