Best Friend
Did you know you are my best friend?
And not just because your money we spend.
Though it’s true that you often pick up the tab,
and make sure I get home in a cab.
No longer do I have to feel lonely,
‘cause you are indeed my one and my only.
Without you I don’t know what I would do.
Maybe exile to Africa and a herd of gnu.
I hope to return all your kindness someday,
and not in a lame or a round about way.
As a best friend for me you’ve always done plenty.

Best friends are always there for one another. No matter what. A best friend won't judge you, but rather protect you. A best friend is a person that cares about you and always has your best interests in mind.
I think those are just a few qualities of a best friend. A true best friend is hard to find. But if you are fortunate enough to have one, consider yourself lucky. Make sure that you cherish your friendship with your best friend, because it's one of the most special relationships that you will ever have.
On a more lighter note, one of your responsibilities as a best friend is to make sure you make your best friend laugh all the time. Laughter is wonderful for the soul. That's why I think funny best friends poems is just one of the many great ways to do it.
