Famous Funny Poems

What are your favorite famous funny poems? One of my very favorite is Café Comedy by Robert William Service. It talks about a man and a woman who are waiting for one another at a cafe. Except they have never met before, so it's like a blind date. I don't want to spoil it for you, but it turns out to be a pretty funny blind date.

Another short little funny poem that you may enjoy is called, Melinda Mae, and written by Shel Silverstein. Not only is this one funny but it's also inspirational. I think that you will agree once you read it.

Some famous funny poems were written over 200 years ago, so the language may be a bit different than what we are used to today. But a lot of the times, the theme is very flexible and may still relate to our lives today.

There's one more famous poem I would like to share with you right now. It called, My Nose, and was written by Gabriel Liebermann. I think it's really funny. It talks about the life of a man with a big nose. The entire poem is funny from beginning till the end. I really like the last line. It's pretty cool.
